Welcome to Homegrown Comics!

Thanks for stopping by. This site has been on a long time coming… like since I was about 10 years old. Of course, I didn’t know about websites then. I did know about comics.

I always wanted to make one and I drew every day, studying the greats of the 90s. It was a whimsical childhood dream, but the cost of materials, the sheer effort it took to produce a comic. That was a feat in itself, that even at 42 have no idea about.

Luckily for me technology has become amazing and bridged the gap between what I knew about and what I can create on a tablet. So I finally had no excuses and just as a way to have a creative outlet and a home for my creations, Homegrown Comics was created. For now, it’s just about creating and sharing what I love and achieving a childhood dream. If it works out, I would love to get into publishing in some physical form.
